The Glass

I saw love in the tainted glass, blurred with hurts from the past, rusty at the rim from past mistakes,

I’ve seen it lying there, rolling in the breeze of my experiences, fallen, broken,

I’ve seen love through this glass,

I have drank from it, ahh sweet waters, but lasted just for a moment, turned bitter in my belly, my belly, it turned bitter

I found love though this glass, it’s been handled, soiled, smashed,

But just like magic the pieces, keep forming back, getting stronger and stronger
Keeps building back,

Keeps forming keeps shining though brightly,

Beneath that broken glass lies something beautiful, made with the chief of china, bought from France,
Yes, from France

If you find it, it will no longer be hidden, as the worth has been known,

Was nothing then but now its worth far more than any other

Today this glass stands antique, shining through the masses.

Brand new.

The Child Withi…

The Child Within

See the world as a playground,in which to choose the brightest of toys and goodies. Life is truly what you make of it. It is when we give up our childish imaginations that we become fearful and give up trying and taking risks. i urge you to lure that child in you out,be happy and make the most of this pleasant day.

Beautiful is the night

A POEM by Bertilia Antoine summer 2000

Bertilia’s Acrostic

Beautiful is the night,

Evoking memories of the past,

Revealing romantic flavors,

That keeps it flowing.

I wish we could be one again. For

Life tells no more than that

I long to be in your caress.

Always only a dream hovering, awaiting

Surely, I wait…

You are super..

You are super
You don’t have a cape or a sword but you got heart, and that sets you apart from many who have gone before you,

You have vision, and that sort of defines you, makes you work extra hard and lives you wanting, panting,

For more.you are sure of yourself in a world that’s full of the insecure, you do your best and you still do a little more,

Your hands are harden by your choice of work, with each passing brush and stroke, you become beautiful, Sequined with a stance of art,

On your tongue lies the sweetest of rhymes, whistling to the broken, mending their pieces, you speak life to the dead

majority, because by living your dream you have awakened the dream,

You become it.

Way to a man’s heart

Are there specific ways to a man’s heart ,I mean except through his stomach, are there about five basic guidelines a woman can follow in order to get and keep her man. Being friends with women who have been through not so perfect relationships, going from relationship to relationship, left heart broken and confused about the heck happened? What did we do wrong and why didn’t he stay other than the guy being a prick, some of us women do drive men away.
So in this piece I would like to state at least five guidelines in keeping your man.

*Make him happy/smile a man appreciates a woman who puts a smile on his face, makes him laugh, lighten up and
enjoy her company.

*A woman who supports and understands his dreams. Be his biggest cheer leader, back rubber and motivator.

*A woman who gives him attention. Remembers what cereal he likes, pays attention to the details that shapes his life, surprise him with favorite treats etc.

*A woman who shows him love, hugs, kisses, not only tells him but shows him,

*A woman who shows him respect
